Purposeful basketball development for boys and girls in Grades 3–6.WOODZ ACADEMY: Development Before Destination
Not More Hoops.
Better Direction.
Kids can play a lot without actually developing.
Academy connects teaching, repetition and competition so players aren't just getting reps. They're learning how to play.
The work has a purpose.
We're not trying to find out who the best fourth grader is.
We're building the movement, skill, understanding, decision-making and competitive habits players will need as the game gets harder.
We're building players who are still good when youth basketball is over.
Youth basketball changes quickly.
The players who continue to thrive aren't just the ones who learned moves earlier. They're the ones who can play, think, adjust and compete as the game becomes more demanding.
Academy is built to develop that player.
Not just better today. Better prepared for tomorrow.
Academy Format
DEVELOP

SUNDAY · SMALL-SIDED PLAY
Competition gives the work somewhere to go. More touches. More decisions. More opportunities to apply what was taught during the week.
PROGRESS
GRADES 3–4 + 5–6 · 16 PLAYERS MAX PER GROUP
Smaller groups allow for more teaching, more feedback and a clearer understanding of what each player needs next.
FALL 2026
OCTOBER–MARCH · NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
Six months of intentional development, teaching and competition. Enrollment is limited to protect the environment, the repetitions and the quality of coaching each player receives.
